An in-depth 3-hour Game of Thrones tour by land and sea
Join our Game of Thrones Tour, now extended with a visit to beautiful Lokrum Island. This tour includes everything from our standard Game of Thrones experience, plus the added adventure of exploring the lush island of Qarth. In approximately three hours, you’ll visit all the iconic King’s Landing filming locations in Dubrovnik and see how the city became the capital of Westeros.
Just like on our regular tour, stroll through the Old Town’s cobbled streets, visit the key filming locations, and climb to Fort Lovrijenac — the Red Keep — with expert local guides sharing behind-the-scenes stories and fascinating production insights. Stand on the Jesuit Staircase during the legendary Walk of Shame and gaze over Blackwater Bay, the backdrop for epic battles and unforgettable scenes.
Then, take a short ferry ride to Lokrum Island, the filming location of Qarth. Here, you can sit on Dubrovnik’s official Iron Throne and see how this stunning island was transformed for the series. After the guided portion, enjoy free time to swim, explore the botanical gardens, relax in the shade, or have lunch surrounded by nature before returning to Dubrovnik at your own pace.
By adding Lokrum, this tour keeps all the experiences of the standard Game of Thrones Tour while offering breathtaking sea views and a peaceful island escape — the perfect combination of cinematic magic and time to unwind.
She is a repeat extra on the show so she gave us behind the scenes GOT series info. She had a flip book with pictures from the various scenes in show to remind us of the specific scene and background. This was super helpful.
On the walk Ivana spoke about Dubrovnik, it’s buildings, it’s history, architecture, traditions, food, education, language, neighbours, etc so many things, but in an an interesting and absorbing way, not just presenting a tired text, but interacting with the group and interlacing the information with personal experiences and family stories. We really enjoyed the walk and the time seemed to go so quickly, and because of the way it was presented our attention was always on what was being said and we learnt and remembered so much.
